Hi Frances. No lender can deny you a loan based solely on your age. The Fair Housing Act protects you from this type of discrimination. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience, I would be happy to help you find a home. - Chuck Valence, Charles Rutenberg Realty

Hi Frances. Age is not a problem. You need to talk to a lender. If you need help with that, contact me. I work in the central Florida area, based in Mt. Dora. You can click on contact me.
The main thing to consider would be the length of the financing term. I would talk to Church Hill Mortgage. Visit their website for more information.
That would not be a problem. If you are interested in South Florida I would love to help you find your home.
Your age is not a factor and Lenders can not discriminate based on age... You must however prove to the Lender that you have an adequate income and the required debt to income ratio to qualify.
With a down payment you should qualify for a loan. What area of Florida are you considering?
