Depending how much exposure you want. You could put your property on Craigslist, put it on this website or other FSBO sites. But I think the smartest and easiest way is to hire a Realtor.
How do I sell my own home on this web site
Hello, John. Were you able to list the home as a homeowner? If not, and you need some assistance, feel free to call or email us.
Do you mean listed here on this website? If you list with a Realtor your home is not just going to show up on this site but also Zillow, Trulia, Yahoo Homes, Realtor and many others. But it also may be possible to list your house here on this site. I don't know for sure because we've all signed up for, and created, a real estate agent account. So just sign up, for free, and create a homeowner account. Then follow the prompts. This site may give you the option to manually list your home. If so, I'm sure there will be a fee. But you'll know upfront.
Let me know if you still need any assistance! Thanks
This depends a lot on the exposure you wish to obtain. If you wish to have your home imported into all of the major real estate web sites you need to do this through a local Realtor through the local MLS. (Multiple Listing Service)Most large Real Estate websites have agreements set up with the local MLS's to import and display this information into their respective websites which will basically place your listing everywhere a serious homebuyer is looking on the internet. You can do this through a Full Service Real Estate agent who will guide and assit you through the entire process of pricing and marketing your home as well as through the contract and closing period, or you can also do this through a Limited Service Brokerage which will basically do what you want on a fee for service bases. If you are looking for local options I would suggest doing a google search of For Sale By Owner(FSBO) websites which will turn up a large selection of individual websites when you can go to enter your home as well. Keep in mind many Real Estate professionals do not necessarily watch these websites and most Real Estate transactions do occur with the use of a Realtor so the exposure of your home to those who are actively looking to buy now could potentially be far less than if the home was on a main stream Realtor website. It's just a matter of whether you wish to save time and stress or money in the end.
HI John, I am happy to help you create a listing on the MLS and will see to it that your home is found on dozens of top home-search sites on the web. Market-leading analytical software I use reveals the exposure of home listings on the internet. This tool shows shows my clients' listings get posted on more than 80 popular home-search web sites. The typical agent relies on the local MLS and its partnering sites, which only gets their listings out to only 20 or 30 home-search sites. Hello John, Zillow(dot)com has FSBO option, as well other websites. However, the best way to ensure the maximum exposure for your home is to list with an experienced professional realtor. Best Regards, Vivianne Rutkowski KELLER WILLIAMS REALTY
Most sites import listings from the MLS system, which means a Realtor has to be involved with it. Some other advise is Craigs list postings to sell your home. If your interested in listing your home with an agent, click the contact me icon. Thanks for the question.
